Microsoft releases a new Windows 10 build for the Windows Insiders who are on the Dev Channel. The latest Windows 10 build 20211 contains two new features. Among these, one is the ability to search for default apps, and the other is the ability to access the Linux file systems in WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux).

If you are a Windows Insider and your device is enrolled against the Dev Channel, you can grab the latest preview build through Windows Update. Before upgrading to this build, make sure to check out the original release notes for known issues present in this build.

Microsoft releases Edge 87 to the Edge Insiders in the Dev Channel. The latest Microsoft Edge Dev build 87.0.634.0 adds some new features, a long list of reliability improvements, and changed behaviors. If you are on the Dev Channel, upgrade to the latest Dev build.

Last year, during the Ignite 2019 conference, Microsoft announced the public preview of Visual Studio Codespaces which allowed developers to code from anywhere using a browser and the internet. Now the company has decided to retire it and migrate all its users to GitHub Codespaces.

Microsoft released a new Office for Android Build 16.0.13231.20002 to the insiders. Microsoft is currently working on a new feature for the chromium-based Microsoft Edge browser, which will add the ability to capture a screenshot of a website without using any 3rd party tool. They named it as "Web Capture", and can be invoked by using the default shortcut key.

The feature is currently rolling out to a limited set of Edge Insiders running the Canary build of Microsoft Edge (Chromium), and will soon roll out to more users.
