Visual Studio 2022 is the first version of the IDE that will be available as a 64-bit app and thus it won't be limited to ~4GB of memory in the main devenv.exe process. Currently, it is available as a preview bit for the interested developers to try and provide feedback to Microsoft.

September 2021 Patch Tuesday Update for Windows 10 is now available. Microsoft releases KB5005565 cumulative updates for all supported versions of Windows 10 as a mandatory update that solves a PowerShell bug and more.

Last week Microsoft released Windows 11 Build 22454 to the insiders in the Dev Channel. The build was released from the active development branch (RS_PRERELEASE) that adds a modern context menu to the Recycle Bin, network sharing in File Explorer, an updated version of the Korean IME, and a list of bug fixes.

 

Later in the week, Microsoft also released the ISO image of the same Windows 11 Build 22454. Being the first ISO image of the Windows 11 vNext release build, insiders can now perform a clean installation on their system.

Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22454.1000 is now rolling out. The latest build comes from the active development branch (RS_PRERELEASE) and adds few new enhancements and a long list of bug fixes in various parts of the operating system.

 

If you are a Windows Insider in the Dev Channel, you would like to upgrade to this build by clicking the "Check for Updates" button on your Windows Update Settings page.

Back in May 2021, during the //BUILD/2021 event, Microsoft announced the ability for Microsoft Teams users to purchase any third-party Teams app subscriptions directly from the Teams app store. From within the store, users can view subscription plans offered and go through the checkout process to pay with a credit card.

 

This feature is soon going to roll out to the Microsoft Teams users and the tenant admin can enable or disable their users' ability to discover and install third-party applications that require third-party subscriptions.
