Windows Subsystem for Android (July 2022 update)

What's new and improved in Windows Subsystem for Android for Windows 11

Advanced Networking

Microsoft made a lot of changes to networking options! With the new advanced networking, apps can now access local network devices for ARM computers. This will enable the apps to take full advantage of this feature. With this update, Microsoft also enabled IPv6 and VPN connectivity in Windows Subsystem for Android. This will enhance the networking functionalities of the subsystem.

Settings App Update

In version 2205.40000.14.0, Microsoft updated the Windows Subsystem for the Android Settings app which will now account for advanced networking. This means that Microsoft has removed the IP address from the Developer section in the Settings app. This has been done because the subsystem no longer has a different IP from your computer.
