Microsoft Teams on Web adds a few new features

Microsoft Teams on the web now allows users to blur the background of the video feed. It now also allows users to select from Microsoft-provided backgrounds during a video call. Do note that the blurring or set of the custom background image may not prevent any sensitive information from being displayed to the other recipients in the meeting.

Microsoft Teams web client will now allow users to view captions coming from the CART provider in real-time within the Teams meeting window. The meeting organizers and participants can enable CART captioning from the meeting options.

Live captions with speaker attribution is another feature that has been added to Microsoft Teams on the web. This feature allows you to see who is speaking along with what’s being said, making meetings more inclusive and easier to follow along. This now comes with 27 new spoken languages, including German, Portuguese (Brazil), Japanese, and Hindi.
