Windows 11 Build 25120 adds a new experimental search bar

What's new and improved in Windows 11 Build 25120

An experimental search bar on the desktop

Microsoft adds a new "Search Bar" widget on the desktop. When enabled, it will allow you to directly perform a Bing search from the desktop. Do note that this feature is currently limited to a set of insiders running the Windows 11 Dev Channel build 25120.

Microsoft also allows you to remove the search box from the desktop. To do so, right-click on the desktop, and then navigate to "Show more options" to toggle the "Show search" from the context menu.

We are excited to learn your feedback on this interaction model, so please use the Feedback Hub to provide feedback if you receive this experiment, says Microsoft in the announcement post.
