Just two days after releasing Windows 11 Build 25120, Microsoft now released a cumulative update to test the servicing pipeline. The latest Windows 11 Build 25120.1010 comes as a KB5015039 update and includes all the features, improvements, and fixes that were released with Windows 11 Build 25120 to the insiders in the Dev Channel.

Windows 11 build 25120.1010 is a cumulative update (KB5015039) that adds no new features to Windows 11. As it is to test the servicing pipeline that Microsoft often does to streamline the process before releasing new features and updates, it includes all the new features and improvements that were part of the last Windows 11 build released to the insider's Dev Channel.

We are starting to roll out Cumulative Update Build 25120.1010 (KB5015039). This update does not include anything new and is designed to test our servicing pipeline for builds in the Dev Channel, says Microsoft.

For those who are not aware, Windows 11 Build 25120 adds a new "Search Bar" widget on the desktop. When enabled, it will allow you to directly perform a Bing search from the desktop.

As this is marked as an experimental feature, only a limited set of insiders running the Windows 11 Dev Channel build 25120 are allowed to try it out at this moment.

If you are on the Release Preview Channel, Windows 11 Build 22000.706 (KB5014019 update) has been rolled out ahead of the next major Windows 11 update.
