If you are talking about foldable smartphones, Xiaomi is one of those few manufacturers in the market. Earlier this year, the company launched the Mi Mix Fold foldable smartphone with a large display. Now the company is reportedly working on another foldable smartphone that will bring a new clamshell design.
According to the report, the smartphone will look similar to Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, and will have a dual-camera setup & an LED flashlight. Just like any other smartphone, the volume key and power key will be present on the right side of the device.
The new Xiaomi foldable smartphone has been in an application filed with the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) carrying the application number 2020301357510. Though it does not reveal the specifications of the new mobile device, the patented images are now available on the internet.
The new foldable smartphone from Xiaomi will come with a dual-camera setup at the back, along with a LED flashlight. At the bottom of the phone, you will find a speaker, a SIM card slot, and a USB Type C port. The power key and the volume keys are present on the right side of the phone.
It is also remarkable to mention that all Xiaomi phones, tablets, smart devices, and TVs that the company will launch now will be powered by MIUI 13.
