Microsoft releases a new Clock app for Windows 11 with Focus Sessions

A new Clock app for Windows 11

Microsoft started rolling out a new cumulative update (KB5005189) for Windows 11. The new update comes with build number 22000.160 and is now rolling out to the Windows Insiders in the Dev and Beta Channels. A few days ago, Microsoft teased a video with a preview of the newly redesigned clock app. With the latest build, this app is now generally available to insiders.

The new Clock app comes with a Focus Timer, that will help you to achieve your goals and get more done with a focus session. You will need to say about the time that you have, and the rest of the things will be set up automatically.

Focus Sessions supports connecting your Spotify account to help you find the perfect audio to help you focus. Get the most from your working day with playlists and podcasts.

Focus Session is integrated with Microsoft To-Do, which will allow you to select the task you would like to work on during your focus session and check it off once it is done. This can be achieved without having to switch contexts.

To help you build healthy digital habits, you can set a daily goal and challenge yourself to not break your streak!
