Windows 11 is the upcoming major release of the Windows operating system that Microsoft just announced. It is expected to become available later this year and will be offered as a free upgrade to the compatible systems running Windows 10.

While the minimum system requirements to install or upgrade to Windows 11 are already available, Microsoft released a tool, "PC Health Check", to make it easier for you to see if you are running a Windows 11 compatible system. Continue reading to know how you can check this.

The minimum system requirements to install Windows 11 states that Windows 11 will require 1 gigahertz (GHz) or a faster processor with 2 or more cores on a compatible 64-bit system, a minimum of 4 GB RAM, and 64 GB or larger storage device, DirectX 12 compatible graphics / WDDM 2.x, UEFI/Secure Boot, Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0, and an active internet connection.

The PC Health Check tool makes it easy to find whether you are running a truly compatible PC. To find it out, download the latest version of the PC Health Check tool from the official Microsoft site and install it on your system.

After installation, run the PC Health Check app which will show you the application window similar to the following screenshot:

Now click on the "Check now" button to see if you are running a compatible system or not. It will show you a message "This PC can run Windows 11" or "This PC can't run Windows 11" based on the compatibility result that the tool finds.
