It's around 4 years when Microsoft first announced that the company is going to make the MS Paint app available in the Microsoft Store. It begins with deprecating this native app and introducing a new app called 'Paint 3D', which didn't attract many users.

As spotted by ALumia, the MS Paint is now available in the Microsoft Store. At this moment though you can't download it, it's more likely that everyone using Windows 10 can soon be able to get it.

Windows 10 Paint app now available in the Microsoft Store; You’ll soon be able to download it

Microsoft Paint was first released with Windows 1.0, in the year 1985, which was a simple raster graphics editor and supported only 1-bit monochrome graphics. Later, in every version of Windows, it got some new enhancements to reach the heart of the users.

Along with 'Windows 10 Insiders Preview Build 17306', Microsoft started giving an alert message (This version of Paint will soon be replaced with Paint 3D. Classic Paint will then become available in the Store) saying that the product will soon be replaced by the 'Paint 3D' app.

After a wait of 4 years, the Microsoft Paint (MS Paint) app has now shown up in the Microsoft Store. Though it is still unavailable for download, it may soon be enabled after an announcement from Microsoft.
