During this COVID-19 pandemic, most of the students are having online classes. Thus they are regularly using the internet, and to make it a safer web for them, Microsoft announced a new "Kids Mode" functionality for its Chromium-powered Microsoft Edge browser.

Kids Mode will allow your kids to safely browse the internet based on an allowed list, do search safely on Bing, view kid-friendly content, lock switching back to default mode under a password, and all these functionalities without creating a new profile.

Moreover, you won't require to have a child account or profile to set up the permissions for your kids.

The Kid Mode on Microsoft Edge browser is currently limited to US English only and can be accessed on Windows and macOS. The company didn't mention a word about its availability in other markets.
