Google Docs will now alert you if someone you tag is out of office

According to the recent update, when you reply to a comment or mention/tag other users in a comment, and if the user is currently set its calendar to "Out-of-Office", you will now see an "Out-of-Office" banner. The information on the OOO banner will also let you know when they have planned to return to the office.

If multiple people set their calendar to be "Out-of-Office", then you will see a pop-up with condensed detailed information available by clicking the "info" icon. This will pull the availability information for each specific person.

Google said the update has been started rolling out to the rapid release domains. It will take 15 days starting to rollout to all rapid release domains. Starting it will start rolling out to scheduled release domains and will take up to 15 days for the feature to be available to the end-users.

There is no admin control required for this feature. Also, for the end-users, no action required. The end-users will automatically see OOO information when replying to or mentioning a user in a comment.
