Microsoft released a new build of PowerToys for Windows, that pushed the version number to 0.12. The new update brings several new improvements and a new tool that allows you to easily rename files in batches. If you have a load of files, this update will make it easier for you to rename all of them.

What's new with PowerToys v0.12 for Windows?

Microsoft PowerToys version 0.12 includes a new tool called "PowerRename", that allows you to rename a large set of files in batches. The power tool comes with a straight forward interface to add renaming rules with a number of options.

 

It also includes a brand new window manager tool called "FancyZones", that has been designed to make it easy for you to arrange and snap window into efficient layouts across multiple monitors.

 

The another key feature is the support of "Dark Mode", that makes it inline with the Windows 10 Dark Mode. This will be available to application settings and ShortcutGuide.
