Google Chrome will soon stop those annoying websites that manipulates browser history

According to a latest post on 9to5Google, Google Chrome to soon put an end to those websites which manipulates the browser history and prevents user from going back to the previous page.

Initially, these website pages will be silently flagged, and the Google Chrome will send metrics about the pages to Google for analysis. Later, it will skip these false entries entirely.

At the very beginnning, to reduce the possibilities of unexpected behavior for both users and web developers, this new feature will be temporarily hidden behind a flag, wordily named #enable-skip-redirecting-entries-on-back-forward-ui. Once you enable the flag, Chrome will skip every false page when you click either back or forward.

The ultimate goal of flagging is to skip these false entries entirely when the flag is enabled. This new feature will soon arrive on Chrome Canary build and then rollout to Chrome Dev, Chrome Beta, Chrome in stages.
