10.or E (Tenor - E) device specifications, features review

10.or E (pronounced as Tenor E) is a Amazon exclusive feature-rich smartphone, launched in September 2017. It comes with 5.5" (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 13 MP rear / 5 MP front camera and fingerprint sensor.

Bigger Display with Full HD support

10.or E provides a bigger screen experience with its 5.5" (1920 x 1080 resolution) Full HD screen. The capacitive touch screen contains a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3, that makes it scratch proof. The display is bright enough and viewable in sunlight.

Hardware Specifications

The 10.or E comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor, and is available in two variants - 2GB RAM with 16GB storage space and 3GB RAM with 32GB storage space. You can expand the storage space upto 128GB with a microSD card, so that you can store all your favourites.

The audio output of the device is average. During the call, the earpiece volume is good enough but lags the quality of the volume in loudspeaker mode.

It has a dedicated SIM tray with dual nano SIM slots and a separate microSD card slot on the left. 10.or E has 4G connectivity with support for 4G VoLTE. Though it has 4G support in both of its SIM slots, but only one can use 4G connectivity at a time.

In this device, you will have WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 support. Apart from that, it has Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, but has no support of Gyroscope, Temperature sensor, NFC, Infrared and FM.

Operating System

It comes with Android v7.1.2 Nougat operating system and is upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo. The device also supports Google Assistant, and can be easily accessible from the device Lock Screen.

As the device is Amazon exclusive, it comes with some apps from Amazon which includes Amazon Shopping, Prime Video and Amazon Kindle. During the first launch, it asks you to enter Amazon credentials to configure the apps but you can skip this installation steps. Later, you can configure the Amazon services from the Settings page.

Battery Life

The 10.or E is powered by 4000 mAh high density lithium polymer battery and lasts up to two days. The battery is not removable and fast charging technology is not available. Thus, it takes more time to charge the phone.

Camera

The device has a 13 MP rear camera with flash, auto focus, face recognition, red-eye reduction capabilities. It also has a 5 MP front camera, for capturing selfies, with face recognition to capture the perfect moment. The camera settings allow you to select the Picture size, Picture quality and many other configurations.

The picture quality of the 10.or E front camera comes out naturally with right amount details and clarity during daylight condition, which is fine at this price range. But in low light, the clarity is not much stunning. The front camera gives an average quality of snaps, even with a LED flash at night.
