On 30th March, during Build Developer Conference 2016, Microsoft released Visual Studio 2015 Update 2. This release focuses on stability and more on the users feedback received on RTM and Update 1. Along with these, it also includes performance improvements and responsiveness to our favorite IDE.

 

This build also has some known issues, which will be fixed in subsequent builds. In this post, sharing the links to download the web installer, ISO image for offline installation.

 

Microsoft released Visual Studio 2015 Update 2 (www.kunal-chowdhury.com)

 

Visual Studio 2015 Update 1 was released on December 2015, Visual Studio 2015 Update 2 RC (Release Candidate) build on 3rd March 2016 as a “Go Live” prerelease version and on 30th March 2016 during the //BUILD/2016 conference the giant company released the final version of the Update 2.

 

Along with this, Microsoft also released Team Foundation Server 2015 Update 2. You can install the new Visual Studio 2015 Update 2 and the Team Foundation Server Update 2 from the following links:

 

Note: If you have Visual Studio 2015 (original release version) installed and run the download from this page, only Visual Studio 2015 Update 2 will be installed. If you don't have it already installed and run the download, both Visual Studio 2015 and Update 2 are installed.
