Tripura is a small hilly state in Northeast India, occupying an area of approx. 4,051 sq. mi (10,490 sq. km). The state is surrounded by Bangladesh on the north, south and west border. The Indian states of Assam and Mizoram lie to its east. The state capital is Agartala.

I was born and brought up in this small state “Tripura” but when I went outside after my graduation, I came to know that there are many people (mainly southern part of India) who don't know about this state. Hence, recently that strike my mind and I discussed the same with the tourism department of Tripura. They appreciated my thoughts and gave me permission to build an app for Windows Phone which will allow the user to know more about the state, culture, economy, food, people, tourist places and hotels. First of all, my sincere thanks to Mr. K. D. Chowdhury (DM, Sipahijala) and Tripura Tourism for their support on getting the content and images for this app.

Here are few snaps directly from the app which will give you the basic knowledge about the state, it’s districts, capital city, people, economy, food habits, festivals and many more. Not only that, if you are a tourist and looking for a hotel (Government or Private) to stay, there is a list of good hotels in this app. You will be able to tap the hotel name and call them directly from the app itself.
The tourist places are a great attractions of this application. You will see a no. of places including few pictures to give you a perfect look of the places. In the next version of this app, I am going to add more tourist spots and pictures. Once installed, you will get the update notification automatically once I push a new version of it.
