Download Internet Explorer 10 Platform Preview

Microsoft just announced Internet Explorer Platform Preview 1 in MIX11 keynote event. It is now available for download today. This will be the next version of Microsoft’s industry-leading Web browser and the deep native HTML5 support delivered in Internet Explorer 9.

Internet Explorer 10 Platform Preview 1 is the first public preview of the IE10 web platform. In this release, they showcased support for CSS3 Flexbox, CSS3 Grid Alignment, CSS3 Multi-column, CSS3 Gradients on background-images and ECMAScript5 Strict Mode.

There are some cool application they shown using Internet Explorer 10 Platform Preview and one of them is the Tweets Flow demo which uses the CSS3 Column layout. Have a look of it here:

IE10 Platform Preview can be installed in Windows 7 (both x86 and x64 bit) OS. Prior installing the product, you must need some updates to the Windows 7 to continue.

You may need to upgrade your Windows 7 OS prior to install the Platform Preview. Find the installation instructions here.
